Lucy Lawful meets Detective Columbia in her aquarium-turned P.I. Agency for the opportunity to shadow a true hard-boiled detective as research for an upcoming acting role.
The pair receive their first case together not long after - a distressed corporate accountant from the DMS walks in requesting special protection for her croupier sister during the weekend. She's concerned for her sister's wellbeing and needs a discreet eye on her whereabouts.
As Columbia and Lawful follow up on her request, it becomes apparent that things don't quite add up...
